Work
I’ve had the pleasure of working with creative people throughout my career and free time—telling stories, collaborating with nonprofits, and helping businesses grow.

Writer and Photographer for San Diego Magazine
At San Diego Magazine, I’ve produced more than 20 print and digital stories as both a writer and photographer. As the publication’s lead outdoor writer, I author the monthly Everywhere Under the Sun newsletter, covering the outdoors, hiking, and San Diego’s lifestyle and culture.

San Diego Magazine's 2025 Home + Design Cover
I photographed the cover for San Diego Magazine’s 2025 Home + Design edition, featuring the mid-century Liebner House in La Jolla, first built in 1961.
Feeding San Diego
Feeding San Diego contracted me to produce a video highlighting Hoover High School’s on-campus food pantry and culinary arts program. I partnered with local producer Tom Catlin to film and produce the final video for marketing use.

Lucky Duck Foundation
The Lucky Duck Foundation is dedicated to addressing homelessness in San Diego. I supported their fundraising efforts by providing digital consulting on content strategy, website design, social media engagement, and media buying.
Stephen Wampler Foundation
The Stephen Wampler Foundation provides life-changing outdoor experiences for children with physical disabilities. I consulted on digital marketing efforts, including website structure, social media strategy, partnership opportunities, and paid media planning.

Pacific Arts Movement
Pacific Arts Movement (Pac Arts) champions independent stories by and about Asian and Pacific Islander communities around the world. I volunteer with their video production team and have photographed headshots for the Pac Arts staff.
KIKOOYA Outdoor Apparel
KIKOOYA is a San Diego-based outdoor apparel company creating premium products for people who love the outdoors. I supported their brand launch through digital marketing consulting and photography for the website, product pages, and social media campaigns.
